Guizhou Long Jing 43

Green tea, China

This vintage originates from Guizhou Province, a steep and isolated region in the heart of the mountains of southwestern China, which is the new Eldorado of tea. This tea comes from the famous Long Jing cultivar #43, which is one of the cultivars used in the PDO Long Jing Cha in Zhejiang, and it was manufactured in the manner of a Long Jing, that is to say worked in a wok to reveal sweet, fresh and delicious chestnut vegetal notes. It was sourced by Teasane by Katrin Rougeventre, which specializes in sourcing exceptional teas from China, and I am very happy to distribute this vintage, which is original in terms of its provenance and very qualitative.

It is interesting to compare to Zhejiang Xihu Long Jing which comes from this same cultivar implanted in its designation of origin "Zhejiang Long Jing Cha".
