“Oriental beauty” is the name given by Queen Elizabeth II to this type of tea which has its origins in Taiwan. This cru comes from the Province of Chiang Mai. It was harvested at an altitude of 1,200m in the mountain range of Doi Ang Khang. It comes from the main plantation of the Royal Project Foundation aiming to eradicate poppy cultivation by offering more lucrative alternative crops to farmers. Semi-oxidized around 70%, it has body with tannins that remain supple and delicious honeyed and fruity notes.
