"Nothing is lost" in Japan where the stems form a family of tea in itself (kukicha). I selected this tea for the quality of its blend of sencha stems and leaves from a cooperative of producers in Kagoshima prefecture in the south of Kyushu island. With woody, green vegetal and marine notes, this mealtime tea offers a thirst-quenching effect. It will be more full-bodied than the Xtra Kukicha, richer in leaves grown in the shade, bringing mellowness.
