Cultivated in Kirishima on the island of Kyûshû by Mr. Nishi, this shadow tea is issued from the Saemidori cultivar renowned for its almost sweet and umami flavors. This cultivar, combined with the particularity of the tea being covered for twenty days before harvesting, brings a deep mellow sensation with a very present texture almost nourishing like a broth, on a green vegetal background evolving towards a chestnut note.
